About Us
Founded in 2024, our company was established with the mission of transforming animal health in India by enhancing the natural immunity of livestock and poultry. Recognizing that infectious diseases continue to challenge the health and productivity of animals in India, we are committed to developing innovative products that empower the natural immune defenses of livestock and poultry.
Our approach is rooted in the belief that the immune system is the most advanced and capable mechanism for overcoming diseases. Rather than intervening, our products are designed to support and strengthen this natural defense, ensuring faster recovery with minimal side effects. Founder & Designated Partner
Growing up as the daughter of two veterinarians, animal healthcare was woven into the fabric of my upbringing. I witnessed firsthand the dedication and relentless effort involved in combating diseases like Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and managing complex animal health cases. By the time I reached college, I was inspired to contribute meaningfully to this field, leading me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, where I focused on several immunology projects.
To deepen my understanding of the immune system, I earned a Master’s in Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases from the University of Glasgow, UK. During my studies, I came to appreciate the incredible potential of the immune system and realized that, with the right support, it could transform disease outcomes. After completing my Master’s, I returned to India, driven to research the state of animal healthcare, study industry practices, and explore the measures available to enhance immunity and fight diseases.
I gained hands-on experience through internships at animal healthcare companies and took on product development roles, later working as a strategy consultant in the field. To broaden my expertise, I also worked as a healthcare consultant, exploring human healthcare strategies that could be adapted to improve animal healthcare. My research internship at the Indian Institute of Science honed my scientific rigor and analytical skills, preparing me for a career centered on impactful innovation.
Collaborating with experts in the herbal, veterinary, and animal nutrition sectors, I played a key role in developing an immunity-boosting product for animals. While fulfilling various roles, I remained committed to refining and testing this product, which has since shown success in boosting immunity and aiding treatment of several infectious diseases such as FMD, Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), Avian Influenza among others. With years of experience and a proven product, I founded our company to manufacture and market this solution, driven by a vision of healthier, naturally immune livestock and poultry throughout India.
Dr. Asha H B
Co-Founder & Partner
My journey into animal healthcare began with pursuing a B.V.Sc (Bachelor in Veterinary Science), which laid the foundation for a career dedicated to veterinary science. This was followed by an M.V.Sc (Master in Veterinary Science) in Veterinary Toxicology and Pharmacology, where I earned the All India first rank.
With over 20 years dedicated to serving as the Chief Veterinary Officer for the Government of Karnataka, I gained extensive experience leading the Foot and Mouth (FMD) vaccination drives and understanding the ground realities and challenges of Indian Animal Healthcare.
During my time with the government, I was actively involved in the FMD Control Board, where I worked to improve the implementation of FMD control programs. This role gave me the unique opportunity to understand FMD from multiple angles, including veterinary science, policy-making, and the perspectives of farmers and other stakeholders. I also collaborated with scientists from around the world to learn about global efforts in eradicating or managing FMD, which enriched my knowledge and approach to combating the disease.
In 2020, I started my own company focused on manufacturing animal feed supplements. Now, as a co-founder of Kshamatva, I am inspired by the company’s vision and mission to support natural immunity in livestock.
I am eager to use my expertise to contribute to a healthier, more resilient future for cattle across India.
